Meet the Team
Ashley, Dental Hygienist
Before Ashley joined our team in 2020, she had seven years of experience in the dental field. She attended St. Charles Community College at Forest Park for her schooling and is certified in nitrous oxide sedation. More than anything else at Cayo Dental Care, she loves being part of a warm, welcoming team of professionals who serve patients to the best of their ability. Born in England, Ashley spends her free time being outdoors, swimming, going to the movies, and making memories with friends and family.
Candace, Dental Assistant
Candace is originally from St. Louis and has been working in the world of dentistry for 15 years and counting. She earned her Associate’s Degree from St. Louis Community College and received her CDA certificate in 2007, also attending a Dental Boot Kamp in 2004 and 2006. She loves that her job allows her to meet new people and educate them about the importance of their mouth. She has been married for almost a decade and has two wonderful young children. Outside of the office, she enjoys being with her family, reading, and cooking. She also loves to dance – in fact, she was a cheerleader in high school!
Shanna, Office Manager/Front Desk
With 17 years of experience in the world of dentistry, Shanna joined our team in 2021. So far, her favorite part of her job is laughing with patients and working alongside the absolute best co-workers and boss! She completed her studies at Meremac, is an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant, and has certifications in fixed prosthetics, orthodontics, and more. Outside the office, she loves spending as much time as she can with her husband and their three boys. Here’s something you may not know about her: she’s a strong advocate for Autism!
Tayler, Dental Hygienist
Tayler is originally from Olathe, Colorado. A certified dental hygienist, she completed her studies at Fortis College and has undergone additional training in local anesthesia. In her 7+ years of experience in the world of dentistry, her favorite part of her job has continued to be getting to know her patients and helping improve their oral/overall health. In her free time, you’ll most likely find her spending time with her family, hiking, reading, and going camping. Here’s something you may not know about her: she used to foster rescue dogs – that’s how she ended up with three!
